Welcome! LeedsLeedsLeeds is one of the oldest Ultimate clubs in the UK and has consistently finished in the top 16 since its formation in 2000.

We train regularly in Leeds and compete in the Open, Womens and Mixed divisions of UKU Tour.

The 2019 year saw some great results for the club. Notably the women finishing second at Moor Lane this July. We hope new and upcoming players will be inspired by the GB talent and coaching here in Leeds.

If you are interested in joining the club, look out for details on trainings on here and join our Facebook group. Or if all else fails contact us on twitter or instagram.

Club History

LeedsLeedsLeeds was founded in 2000 by a core of players from the 1997 Nationals-winning Catch 22 squad. With the aim to compete at EUCC 2001 in Prague and win EUCC 2005 after four years together, the Open team were regular Tour and Nationals finalists. Captain Rik Shipley led a GB contingent of Christian Nistri, Steve Vaughan and Peter Wright to EUC gold in 2003, with Joe Bolton, Rich Hims, Ben Mitchell and Rob Whitehouse taking gold in the Mixed division.

As a Women’s Tour was founded in 2004, a Women’s team joined the LeedsLeedsLeeds club with the leadership of GB’s Sally Fraser attracting talent across the north.

With WUCC 2006 in Australia, a Mixed team was formed to compete on the developing Mixed Tour, winning Nationals before making the trip south and finishing 15th.

The club has always strived to maintain links with the universities across Yorkshire whilst contributing at least one player to GB across Open, Women’s, Mixed, and Masters divisions. As the sport has seen an increase in the playing population, weekly sessions are held throughout winter, spring and summer as the club aims to support the development of Ultimate at all levels.
